Cost/Price & Treatment Option Information
One of the first things you must know about Ayahuasca Treatment is that it’s not a drug. Rather it’s a sacred medicine combined with chacruna leaves that contain hallucinogenic properties. This scared medicine wasn’t designed to be used as addiction treatment but it was intended as an emotional healing and physical fix.
If you’re considering to take a journey with Ayahuasca Treatment, you should understand these things first.
1. You’ll purge and remove toxins.
And it’s not fun. If you think that undergoing treatment with Ayahuasca is fun, then think again. It may be an effective way to treat mental issues, like depression and anxiety. But it requires you to vomit as part of getting rid of everything that’s inside your system.
2. You’ll face your inner demons.
When you’re undergoing Ayahuasca treatment, you’ll find yourself hallucinating at one stage. It’s not the same as when you use hallucinogenic drugs as this one entails darker experiences that will cause you to meet your inner demons and expel them from your system.
3. You’re on your own in your journey.
There are people around you while you participate in the ceremony. However, after drinking the concoction, you’re alone in the experience. Those who are participating in the ceremony with you will also drift in their own respective worlds.
4. You’re the only one who can tell if Ayahuasca Treatment is for you.
Ayahuasca treatment isn’t fun, as previously mentioned. Thus, you shouldn’t do it because of peer or family pressure. Bear in mind that the purging and the experiences associated with it will be entirely your own.
5. You must be open about the divine being.
If you’re an atheist, you need to be open about the beliefs of other people that there’s a God, or like some call, the Universe. The reason for this is that the entire treatment involves a lot of mystery and several talks about the divine being.
6. You must choose the right Ayahuasca Center.
An Ayahuasca Center is the location you will be doing the ceremony. As Ayahuasca’s popularity is increasing so do low budget Ayahuasca Centers who are only looking to make a buck. Bear in mind that the effects of Ayahuasca may involve hallucinations. You’ll be vulnerable during that stage. Thus, it’s a must that you trust the Ayahuasca Retreat Center and the person who’s in control of the ceremony.
7. You must be okay of not being in control.
This is one of the reasons you must be open about the possibilities of what may happen during the ceremony. You need to be sure that you’re okay of letting your thoughts come and go and avoid resisting the power of the medicine.
8. You should know what medicines that might interact with the medicine or the ceremony itself.
Some medicines may not mix well with Ayahuasca causing fatalities and ill side-effects. You should take this into consideration, especially if your health depends on them.
9. You should not use it for recreational purposes.
The effects aren’t fun. Thus, you should only do it for the purpose of healing your mind and body.
10. You must not have sex before, during and after the ceremony.
Abstinence from sex is a part of cleansing and healing your mind and body. It’s a traditional requirement when undergoing Ayahuasca treatment at our Ayahuasca retreat center.
Ayahuasca treatment is a deeply personal experience. Thus, the results will be different for everyone.
